Методика изучения синдрома выгорания у студентов социономических и технических профессий

Abstract

Статья посвящена описанию создания методики исследования синдрома выгорания у студентов социономических и технических профессий. Обозначены основные методы и методики изучения синдрома выгорания, а также описаны основные этапы процедуры проверки психометрических характеристик авторского опросника. Стаття присвячена створенню методики дослідження синдрому вигорання у студентів соціономічних і тех-нічних професій. Визначені основні методи та методики вивчення синдрому вигорання, а також описані основні етапи процедури перевірки психометричних характеристик авторського опитувальника. The article is concerned with creating methodology of investigating burnout syndrome among students of socio-nomic and technical professions. Techniques and procedures of studying burnout syndrome are designated, and the main stages of verification procedure of psychometric characteristics of the author’s questionnaire were described. The urgent character of the article is determined by the importance of increasing the quality of specialists training by means of revealing students’ burnout syndrome with the help of valid and reliable technique which allows to diagnose this phenomenon. Burnout syndrome is the state of mental, physical and emotional exhaustion, which is manifested in both subject-to-subject and subject-to-object areas of activity. There are a number of valid diagnostic techniques aimed at investigating burnout syndrome, but there are no techniques for researching students’ burnout. As long as burnout syn-drome is characterized by psychoemotional exhaustion, depersonalization (cynism), decrease of professional effect self-assessment, the questionnaire called “Questionnaire of Students’ Burnout Syndrome – Universally Applicable Form” was worked out in accordance with these characteristics for the purpose of diagnosing students’ burnout. The test in-volved 100 students of the third-fourth year of studying from South Ukrainian National Pedagogical University named after K. D. Ushynsky and Institute of Refrigeration, Cryotechnology and Ecoenergetics named after V. S. Martynovkyi of Odesa National Academy of Food Technologies (52 women and 48 men). The experiment has shown that the worked out technique has a high factor of retest reliability and high rate of validity (criteria and construct) and can be applied for investigating students acquiring both socionomic and technical education.
