Історична особистість у контексті формування національної ідентичності в умовах цифровізації

Abstract

Досліджено роль історичної особистості у процесі формування національної ідентичності в умовах цифровізації сучасного суспільства. Проаналізовано значення видатних постатей української історії, культури, науки та державотворення як носіїв національних цінностей, історичної пам’яті й духовних орієнтирів українського народу. Обґрунтовано, що в умовах розвитку цифрових технологій, соціальних мереж і медіапростору історична особистість набуває нового інформаційного та виховного потенціалу, стаючи важливим засобом формування національної свідомості молодого покоління. Акцентовано увагу на можливостях цифрових платформ, електронних архівів, віртуальних музеїв та освітніх ресурсів у популяризації історико-культурної спадщини України. Водночас визначено основні виклики цифрової епохи, пов’язані з маніпуляцією історичними фактами, поширенням дезінформації та спотворенням історичної пам’яті. Наголошено на важливості розвитку критичного мислення, медіаграмотності та національно-патріотичного виховання у процесі інтерпретації історичних подій і постатей. Зроблено висновок, що історична особистість залишається важливим чинником консолідації суспільства та зміцнення української національної ідентичності в умовах цифрової трансформації.

This study examines the role of historical figures in the process of shaping national identity in the context of the digitalization of modern society. It analyzes the significance of prominent figures in Ukrainian history, culture, science, and state-building as bearers of national values, historical memory, and spiritual guiding principles for the Ukrainian people. It is argued that in the context of the development of digital technologies, social networks, and the media landscape, historical figures acquire new informational and educational potential, becoming an

important means of shaping the national consciousness of the younger generation. Attention is focused on the potential of digital platforms, electronic archives, virtual museums, and educational resources in popularizing Ukraine’s historical and cultural heritage. At the same time, the main challenges of the digital age are identified, including the manipulation of historical facts, the spread of disinformation, and the distortion of historical memory. The importance of developing critical thinking, media literacy, and national-patriotic education in the process of interpreting historical events and figures is emphasized. It is concluded that historical figures remain an important factor in the consolidation of society and the strengthening of Ukrainian national identity in the context of digital transformation.
