Феномен любові у фокусі життєтворчості Софії Русової: взаємодія реального і можливого

Abstract

Стаття присвячена філософсько-педагогічному аналізу феномену любові в життєтворчості Софії Русової, духовна, культурна та освітня діяльність якої стала одним із ключових чинників формування модерної української гуманістичної педагогіки. Актуальність дослідження визначається потребою сучасного переосмислення ціннісних основ філософії освіти в умовах кризи людяності, соціокультурних взаємодій та поширення їх прагматичних моделей. У цьому контексті звернення до любові як життєтворчої категорії, що обумовила духовний світ Софії Русової, набуває особливої наукової ваги. На її власному духовно-онтологічному прикладі творчої реалізації у справі національно-патріотичного виховання розкривається феномен любові до української землі, традицій, дошкільного дитинства, українського народу як всезагальна цінність людського буття. Метою статті є реконструкція полівекторного виміру феномену любові в біографії та творчості Софії Русової, з’ясування її впливу на формування особистісної ідентичності, професійних орієнтирів і громадянської позиції, а також визначення функції феномену любові як сили, що синтезує реальне й можливе у процесах життєтворення та існування людини. Методологічне підґрунтя дослідження становлять феноменологічний аналіз любові як екзистенційного досвіду особистості, біографічний метод, герменевтичне тлумачення текстів Софії Русової й історико-культурна реконструкція доби. Додатково використано аксіологічний і порівняльно-філософський підходи, що дали змогу зіставити погляди Софії Русової з концепціями любові у творчості Г.В.Ф. Гегеля, Ф. Ніцше, Х. Яннараса, А. Бергсона та інших. The article presents a philosophical and pedagogical analysis of the phenomenon of love in the life-creation of Sofiia Rusova – a figure whose spiritual, cultural, and educational activity became one of the decisive factors in shaping modern Ukrainian humanistic pedagogy. The relevance of the study arises from the contemporary need to rethink the value foundations of education under conditions of a crisis of humanity, the weakening of interpersonal relationships, and the spread of pragmatic models of social interaction. In this context, an appeal to love as a meaning-forming category that structured Rusova’s life-world acquires particular scholarly significance. The example of Rusova demonstrates how, through love, a person appears to lose the «old self» yet acquires a renewed self – capable of creative realization in a higher purpose. The aim of the article is to reconstruct the multifaceted dimension of love in Rusova’s biography and intellectual legacy, to determine its influence on the formation of her personal identity, professional orientation, and civic position, and to identify the function of love as a force that synthesizes the real and the possible within life-creative processes. The methodological basis of the study includes the phenomenological analysis of love as an existential experience, the biographical method, hermeneutic interpretation of Rusova’s texts, and the historical-cultural reconstruction of her era. Additionally, axiological and comparativephilosophical approaches were employed, enabling a juxtaposition of Rusova’s views with concepts of love in the works of Hegel, Nietzsche, Yannaras, and Bergson. The results demonstrate that love in Rusova’s life-world emerges as a multidimensional phenomenon: the existential foundation of personal development; a motivational factor in life choices; an ethical imperative of civic service; and a pedagogical principle underlying a holistic conception of education. The study shows that love provides Rusova’s life-creation with inner coherence, ensures the transition from individual experience to social service, and opens the space of the possible – both theoretically envisioned and practically embodied in her educational and civic efforts. The conclusion is drawn that love, in Rusova’s worldview, is a creative force that shapes the human being, fosters spiritual maturity, and constitutes the foundation of humanistic, value-oriented pedagogy.
