Abstract

У статті розглядаються функції пейзажу та інтер'єру в романі Емілі Бронте «Грозовий перевал». Зазначається, що пейзаж та інтер'єр відіграють важливу композиційну, характеротворчу та символічну роль. Встановлено, що деталі інтер'єру мають значне значення для зображення персонажів роману. Художній пейзаж допомагає розкрити почуття та емоційний стан персонажів, а деякі його елементи є важливими символічними образами. The article examines the functions of landscape and interior in Emily Brontë’s novel “Wuthering Heights”. It is noted that landscape and interior play an important compositional, character-building, and symbolic role. It is established that interior details are of considerable importance for the portrayal of the characters in the novel. The artistic landscape helps to reveal the feelings and emotional state of the characters, and some of its elements are important symbolic images.
