Social-psychological aspects of conflictological counseling

Abstract

Conflict counseling is an important branch of psychology and pedagogy that focuses on the analysis, prevention, and resolution of conflicts at the individual, group, and societal levels. In conditions of social crisis (economic instability, political upheaval, pandemics or military conflicts), conflicts escalate, acquiring a socio-psychological dimension. A social crisis disrupts the stability of social ties, increases stress, anxiety, and aggression, which requires a specialized approach to counseling.
