Cultural and artistic factors of proverbs representation in the scale of translation of a literary text

Abstract

Translation of fiction is, first of all, an interpretation of its fiction from the standpoint of a representative of another linguistic culture. This complex process requires from the translator not only technical skills and knowledge of the language, but, above all, a deep understanding of the cultural and historical context, a conscious idea of the style and genre of the work, categorical and ideological factors.
