Інформаційна війна в сучасних інтернеткомунікаціях: українсько-європейські практики та виклики

Abstract

Актуальність визначення сутності та функцій інформаційної війни у сучасних інтернет-комунікаціях обумовлена суттєвими трансформаціями медіа-простору: від традиційних медіа до глобального створення комунікативного середовища у процесі розвитку мережі інтернет. Для українського суспільства, яке вже тривалий час протистоїть інформаційній війні з боку країни-агресора (спрямованої на дискредитацію демократії, ліберальних цінностей та міжнародного права), визначення інформаційної війни у контексті розвитку сучасних інтернет-комунікацій має як теоретичну так і практичну значущість. Дослідження спрямоване на визначення нових суб’єктів інформаційної війни (блогерів та інфлюєнсерів), використання інформаційної зброї у внутрішньополітичній та зовнішньополітичній взаємодії, ролі медіатизації політики. The article is devoted to a comprehensive analysis of information warfare in modern Internet communications. The relevance of defining the essence and functions of information warfare in modern Internet communications is due to the significant transformations of the media space: from traditional media to the global creation of a communication environment in the process of development of the Internet. For the Ukrainian society, which has long been opposed to the information warfare of the aggressor country (aimed at discrediting democracy, liberal values and international law), the definition of information warfare in the context of the development of modern Internet communications is of both theoretical and practical importance. The study is aimed at identifying new subjects of information warfare (bloggers and influencers), the use of information weapons in domestic and foreign policy interaction, and the role of mediatization of politics. The purpose of the article is to determine the role and place of information warfare in modern Internet communications. This necessitated the following research tasks: 1) to determine the transformations of the media environment caused by the transition from traditional media (the “television era”) to new media (interactive multimedia using digital technologies); 2) to note the role of media scandals and mediatization of politics in information warfare; 3) to study the most common technologies used in modern information wars. The System method was used to determine the place of information warfare in the system of Internet communications. The synergistic method allowed to substantiate the focus of information warfare on the destruction of the relevant political order and the increase of social chaos. The functional method identifies the functions of information warfare in modern Internet communications. The historical method reconstructs the chronology of events, allows us to distinguish the stages of information warfare and the dependence of public reaction to information aggression on the “path traveled”. The comparative method allows us to identify the similarities and differences in the environment of information warfare – both in traditional media (print media, audiovisual media) and in new media (interactive multimedia). Psychological methods play an important role. The study of information warfare requires the use of both quantitative and qualitative methods.
