| Abstract: | Стаття присвячена аналізу правозастосовної практики міжнародного захисту прав і свобод людини і громадянина. Особливу значущість у забезпеченні механізму такого захисту набувають Європейський суд з прав людини та Комітет з прав людини Організації Об'єднаних Націй. «Знання» про міжнародні організації з'явилися задовго до їх впровадження в міжнародні відносини. Вони своїм корінням сягають глибокої античності. За роки свого існування Організація Об'єднаних Націй внесла чималий внесок у підтримання міжнародного миру і розвиток міждержавного співробітництва у всіх сферах. Вона багато в чому сприяла укладенню важливих, основоположних міжнародних договорів і конвенцій, які закріпили високі міжнародно-правові стандарти і в першу чергу в області прав і свобод людини, і тим самим був створений міжнародний механізм по захисту всього людства. The article is devoted to the analysis of the law-enforcement practice of international protection of human and civil rights and freedoms. The European Court of Human Rights and the United Nations Human Rights Committee are particularly important in providing a mechanism for such protection. "Knowledge" about international organizations appeared long before their introduction into international relations. They roots back to ancient times. Throughout its years of existence, the United Nations has made a significant contribution to the maintenance of international peace and the development of transnational cooperation in all spheres. It greatly contributed to the conclusion of important, fundamental international treaties and conventions that established high international legal standards and, above all, in the field of human rights and freedoms, and thus created an international mechanism to protect all humanity. |
