Довідник призначається для викладачів вищих навчальних закладів та вчителів загальноосвітніх шкіл, для студентів, курсантів військових навчальних закладів, для широкого кола читачів. Великий вплив на розвиток радянського суспільства мали Збройні Сили, які користувалися повагою не лише з боку держави, а і з боку населення. Бути воїном – захисником вважали почесним обов`язком як чоловіки, так і жінки. Цей довідник містить короткі біографії одинадцяти Маршалів Радянського Союзу та одного Адмірала Флоту Радянського Союзу. The guide is intended for teachers of higher education institutions and teachers of secondary schools, for students, cadets of military educational institutions, for a wide range of readers. The Armed Forces had great influence on the development of Soviet society, which enjoyed respect not only from the state but also from the population. Being a warrior - the defender was considered an honorable obligation to both men and women. This guide contains short biographies of eleven Marshal of the Soviet Union and one Admiral of the Navy of the Soviet Union.
