Abstract

Among the wide variety of performing arts, pop music firmly occupies a special place, being an independent phenomenon of artistic culture. The powerful influence of pop art on a wide audience, in our opinion, is caused, first of all, by a close connection with life and social orientation. This is facilitated by the intensive development of mass information and telecommunication technologies. The realities of the 21st century cause the emergence of new conditions, forms, methods, and technologies for the popularization of pop culture. Modern mass media, Internet resources, radio and TV, social networks and electronic music platforms play an important role in this process. Concerts, show-programs, presentations, festivals are modern forms of involvement of broad segments of the population in pop performances, variety of musical styles, performers, etc.
