Словосполучення як некомунікативна синтак-сична одиниця. Просте неускладнене речення» і«Синтаксис простого ускладненого речення». Уточнено, що текстовий матеріал для творчих вправ –сучасні художні твори, передбачені програмами з української літератури НУШ та проєктом «Інтелект України»; тексти вправ підручників української мови для учнів 8-9 класів; збірники диктантів для учнів загаль-них закладівсередньої освіти; сучасна публіцистика: переважно газетні статті; тексти українських пісень: здебільшого контент воєнного стану. The article emphasizes that a pedagogical higher education institution should ensure the formation of a creative teacher, therefore it is important to improve the philological training of future teachers of the Ukrainian language and literature on the basis of a competency-based approach.The article proposes an author's attempt to design and implement the use of text-based creative exercises as a method of forming syntactic competence of third-year students of the first (bachelor's) level of higher education in the specialty 014.01 Secondary Education (Ukrainian Language and Literature) during the mastering of the academic discipline “Modern Ukrainian Language”, in particular the content modules “General issues of Ukrainian syntax. Phrase combination as a non-communicative syntactic unit. Simple uncomplicated sentence” and “Syntax of a simple complicated sentence”.It was clarified that the text material for creative exercises is modern works of art provided for by the Ukrainian literature programs of the National School of Ukraine and the “Intellect of Ukraine” project; texts of exercises from Ukrainian language textbooks for students in grades 8-9; collections of dictations for students of general secondary education institutions; modern journalism: mainly newspaper articles; texts of Ukrainian songs: mostly martial law content. Наголошується, що мультимедійні лекції, попри очевидний потенціал у підвищенні ефективності викладання й засвоєння знань, супроводжуються низкою труднощів: перевантаженням студентів значним інформаційним обсягом, ускладненням процесу конспектування, ризиком формального засвоєння матеріалу й пасивного сприймання, що знижує рівень розвитку критичного мислення та самостійності здобувачів освіти. The article highlights the issue of organizing lecture activities in higher education institutions in the context of digitalization of the educational environment. It emphasizes that multimedia lectures, despite their evident potential for enhancing teaching efficiency and knowledge acquisition, are accompanied by a number of challenges: student overwhelm with excessive information, difficulties in note-taking, risks of superficial learning and passive perception, which reduce the development of critical thinking and learner autonomy. In thiscontext, the article substantiates the relevance of using a workbook as an important didactic tool for optimizing students’ learning and cognitive activity in lectures. The workbook ensures structured presentation of educational material, systematization of knowledge, development of independence and reflection. The article presents an original attempt at designing and implementing a workbook for the discipline “Ukrainian Language for Professional Purposes,” aimed at first-year students of pedagogical specialties. The methodological framework for workbook design is described in detail; it combines systemic, competence-based, and personality-oriented approaches and is grounded in the principles of scientific character, clarity, accessibility, discreteness, algorithmization, and complementarity of verbal and symbolic representation of educational material. The proposed workbook structure includes four blocks: methodological-instructional (goals, expected outcomes, guidelines for work), content-activity (condensed material, tasks of varying complexity, exercises, and glossary), reflective-evaluative (self-assessment tools, reflection maps, questionnaires), and reference (schemes, tables, bibliography, assessment criteria).The practical implementation of the workbook has confirmed its effectiveness in increasing students’ cognitive activity, developing note-taking skills, fostering critical thinking, and narrowing the gap between theoretical knowledge acquisition and its practical application. The lecture workbookis considered as a modern didactic tool that integrates traditional and innovative forms of learning, ensures variability of the educational process, improves its efficiency, and contributes to students’ personal and professional development. Крім того, протягом навчального року майже на кожному поліфункціональному уроці наявна словникова робота з фразеологізмами, інтеграція знань та навичок.
