Abstract: У статті схарактеризовано основні інноваційні технології, що активно впроваджують під час викладання зарубіжної літератури, а саме: технологія проблемного навчання, технологія розвитку критичного мислення, ігрові технології, сучасні інформаційно- комп’ютерні технології, створення ситуації успіху на уроках. Визначено найбільш релевантні форми, методи та прийоми роботи під час використання певної технології, описана специфіка їхнього використання і вплив на пізнавальну діяльність учнів. The article characterizes the main innovative technologies that are actively implemented during the teaching of foreign literature: problem-based learning technology, critical thinking development technology, game technologies, modern information and computer technologies, creating a situation of success in lessons.The most relevant forms, methods and methods of work during the use of a certain technology are determined, the specifics of their use and their impact on the cognitive activity of students are described. The article analyzes the components of the educational process, namely: purpose, content, principles of learning, textbook, lesson and extracurricular activities, the role of the teacher in the conditions of the growing influence of the information and communication environment, the substantiated influence of the modern information and communication environment on the specified components; the main ways of implementing their changes due to growing informatization, technology and digitization are identified. It was determined that the result of school literary education in the information age should be the education of a reader who has a broad outlook, thinks rationally and creatively, has a variety of reading practices, is capable of independently searching for the necessary information, is able to analyze it, evaluate it for accuracy, relevance and value, compare, generalize and demonstrate, while expressing his own position and justifying it, is ready for continuous education and self-education, is able to take responsibility for solving complex problems in various spheres of social life , and is also able to harmoniously interact with the environment. It was found that the content of modern textbooks on foreign literature, their content and structure satisfy the implementation of the outlined goal and fully meet the requirements of the modern informational and educational process.
