Abstract: The article deals with substantiating the lingual-methodological peculiarities&#xD;
&#xD;
of teaching future teachers discussion in English on the basis of communicative-&#xD;
cognitive approach. There has been considered that discussion relates to the form of&#xD;
&#xD;
polygraphic speech which has the features of both monological and dialogical speech&#xD;
as well as its own peculiarities, the mastery of which is necessary for the successful&#xD;
communication in the discussion. It has been concluded that participating in a&#xD;
discussion of a certain number of participants requires the procedural structuring of&#xD;
&#xD;
their speech product which is ensured by the use of clichés thus in the training-&#xD;
preparatory phase and the phase of discussion development for communicative intent&#xD;
&#xD;
there have been selected definite discussion holding clichés. There have been chosen&#xD;
certain assessment criteria for communication skills in discussion and determined&#xD;
effective group discussion skills in particular involving others, balancing your&#xD;
viewpoint with those of others, being sensitive to others, building consensus, displaying&#xD;
confidence or expressing a lack of confidence when genuine doubt exists, active&#xD;
listening, taking turns etc. The students have been encouraged to a specially prepared&#xD;
discussion on the discussion plan or agenda. As the means for discussion materials&#xD;
there have been selected inspiring quotes of well-known people, 6 minutes BBC&#xD;
resources and IELTS speaking aids.</description>

Abstract: Work with text at tertiary level is considered to be one of the most important&#xD;
activities for students‘, prospective foreign language teachers‘, professional education.&#xD;
The article outlines the possibilities of using media transfer metaprocedure in teaching&#xD;
English with text. Media transfer metaprocedure is aimed at transferring text&#xD;
information to another cognitive context or to another form of its presentation. The&#xD;
focus is on developing students‘ skills of re-encoding information from one form to&#xD;
another. The experience of media transfer metaprocedure implementation is described.</description>

Abstract: The purpose of this work was the introduction of a professionally oriented&#xD;
approach to teaching English for future bachelors in specialty 012 Preschool education.&#xD;
The essence of the developed approach was to integrate the teaching of English with&#xD;
problems of future professional activity for gaining additional knowledge, skills in the&#xD;
future profession of a pre-school teacher.&#xD;
The introduction of the developed methodology of vocational English language&#xD;
instruction using active methods with the use of step-by-step control made it possible to&#xD;
intensify the learning process, significantly increase students' interest in English and&#xD;
significantly improve the student's performance.</description>

future teacher-trainees. Furthermore the article discusses the problems of teacher-&#xD;
trainees during their completion of the course" Translation Studies for the Business&#xD;
&#xD;
students, which is connected with their pedagogical professional abilities.</description>
