The article deals with the influence of the psychological insightfulness specificity of the individuals with different locus of control. Actually, the specific display of the psychological insightfulness among the individuals with external and internal locus of control was researched. The scientific interest in the study of the problem of "psychological insightfulness" appears due to rapid social and economic changes in the modern society. The process of humanization, which affected all segments of social institutions, brought to view and changed the requirements for professionally important personality traits that are applied to members of socionomy professions. This issue is fundamental in nature, with regard to the process of the identity formation of psychologists, social workers, teachers, doctors, politicians, lawyers and others. The ability to build the psychological characteristics accurately and rapidly, as well as understand their needs, is the key to a successful skills development in the field of "human-human". It is therefore the particular study of the psychological insightfulness as a professionally important property of an individual is important. It was empirically proved that the subjective locus of control determines individuals’ specificity of psychological insightfulness on the qualitative level. Moreover, it was investigated that individual humans’ profile with the internal locus of control is characterized by the display of such positive features of the psychological insight as: a personal orientation on comprehension of other people, inclinations to the psychological interpretation, a construction of versatile image and a construction of integral image. The profile of the individuals with the external locus of control is characterized with expression of such negative features of the psychological insight as: a psychological vigilance, impartiality and inclination to construction of versatile image. On the background of the empirical research, the author points out the following tendency: the individuals’ profile with the mixed locus of control measures the indices of psychological insight disposing in their neutral attitude. According to the obtained results, humans with the development of subjective locus of control tend to have a specific level of psychological insightfulness. У статті розглядаються особливості психологічної проникливості осіб з різним типом локусу контролю. Вивчалася специфіка прояву психологічної проникливості в осіб з екстернальним або інтернальним типом локусу контролю.
