Психологічні особливості вибору копінгстратегій в юнацькому віці

Abstract

Стаття присвячена проблемі вибору копінг-стратегій в юнацькому віці. Це питання є дуже актуальним в наш неспокійний час, що вимагає від особистості оволодіння стратегіями розв’язання проблемних, кризових, а підчас, й екстремальних ситуацій. Гострою є проблема навчання єфективним способам виходу зі складних життєвих ситуацій сучасних юнаків та дівчат. Адже саме в юнацькому віці проблеми морального, екзистен-ційного, професійного змісту, розвиток рефлексії суттєво впливають на виникнення, перебіг та переживання особистістю складних стресових ситуацій. У публікації описано емпіричне дослідження психологічних особливостей вибору копінг-стратегій в юнацькому віці. Виявлено, що студенти різних курсів обирають різні стратегії розв’язання проблем. Наприклад, першокурсники у більшості випадків обирають уникання проблем та опираються в стресових ситуаціях на батьків. . The article deals with the problem of selecting coping-strategies in preadult age. This issue is extremely topical in our unquiet time which requires individual’s mastering strategies for resolving problematic, crisis, and at times extreme situations. The problem of teaching young people to find effective ways out of complicated life experiences is pressing nowadays. For particularly in preadult age problems of moral, existential, professional character, development of self analysis substantially influence emergence, process and experiencing complicated stressful situations by an individual. The article describes empirical study of psychological peculiarities of selecting coping-strategies in preadult age. It is revealed that students of different courses select different strategies of resolving problems. The majority of freshmen select such behavioral strategies as “search for social support” and “avoidance of problems”. As it turned out, they frequently choose escaping from a problem in order to avoid conflicts with parents and not to be punished. This may indicate their insufficient motivation in sustaining relationships with people around them. Sophomores have a tendency towards decrease in search for social support, however, they still tend to avoid problem.
