dc.description.abstractУ статті наведені методики навчання студентів старших курсів медичних університетів на базі кафедри шкірно-венерологічних хвороб. Використання в процесі навчання рольової гри, занять-конференцій, викорис-тання історій хвороби та курації хворих на кожному занятті підвищують рівень отриманих навичок та знань в процесі навчання на 36%.В статье приведены методики обучения студентов старших курсов медицинских университетов на базе кафедры кожно-венерологических болезней. . The article deals with the methods of teaching senior students of medical universities at the Department of skin and vene-real diseases. Implementation of role plays, practice conferences, the use of case histories and patient treatments at every les-son increase the level of students’ skills and knowledge by 36%. The basis of professional studies of any specialist is the for-mation of the specific system of professional skills. The development of these skills includes mastering the base of systematic knowledge and the ability to use them for the solution of professional tasks and problems. The review of peculiarities of mod-ern doctors’ professional activity, on the one hand, shows that its effectiveness is ensured by flexible clinical thinking (medi-cal judgement), which involves complex analysis, subtle differentiation of knowledge, efficiency and mobility, and, on the other hand, practical knowledge and skills should be generalized, stable and manageable in every situation. Professional skills also depend on the ability of doctors to master the methods and techniques used in dermatology, because the correct diagnosis is the basis of the successful treatment of a patient. In this regard, the problem of increasing the effectiveness of teaching medical students is of particular urgency. Currently there are many methods and techniques of improving the process of ob-taining new knowledge and skills by students, which are aimed at making the educational process more intensive and effec-tive. The search for new methods and forms of teaching, monitoring of acquired knowledge and skills, improvement of issue of interconnection of lectures and practical classes are carried out in the process of teaching new subjects by teachers. During practices (skills building sessions) students learn to identify the main complaints of patients, to interview, conduct objective examinations of patients, to plan additional examinations, interpret the results of laboratory and instrumental methods of diag-nosis taking into account patients’ age peculiarities and semiotics of diseases, to formulate a detailed clinical diagnosis accord-ing to the modern classifications, justify it, conduct differential diagnosis, to determine the necessary therapy, etc. These issues are covered in the lecture course and described in the bibliographical guidelines for students. However, a number of practical skills and abilities requires drilling in various situations, which is not always possible to demonstrate to students or let them be directly involved due to a number of legal, deontological and ethical aspects.uk
