dc.description.abstract.Стаття присвячена висвітленню способів упровадження контекстного підходу у процес викладання іно- земних мов професійного спрямування майбутніх юристів. Контекстний підхід тлумачиться як ефективна парадигма організації навчального процесу вищого юридичного навчального закладу та як провідний дієвий чинник формування конкурентоспроможності майбутніх юристівюристов. Under new conditions of information-oriented society development, the sphere of future lawyers training cannot be limited by studying professional subjects only. Future lawyers training should mostly include studying humanitarian subjects which will provide their competency in labour market. That is why changes that have taken place lately in or- ganization of future lawyers training are mostly connected with actualization of problems of obtaining such an impor- tant professional competence of a personality as foreign language competence of a university graduate. Despite being topical, the problem of using the contextual approach in foreign language teaching has seldom been considered by mod- ern scientist as a subject of special pedagogical research. The aim of the article is to highlight the most appropriate ways of contextual teaching of foreign languages at the university. A compulsive component of every foreign language class should be immersion of students-lawyers into informational and technological, scientific and educational, foreign lan- guage and communicative environment. While using the above mentioned approach active teaching methods should be used. An active teaching method is considered to be the way of interconnected activity between the teacher and stu- dents-lawyers, which provides maximum digestion of teaching material taking into account students’ interests and faci- litating the use of creative potential of those who study. Active teaching methods include those ones which can be used at the classes, such as discussions, role plays and business plays, press-conferences, trainings, etc. At each lecture or seminar different types of classwork should be used, and all students should be involved. The use of contextual ap- proach alongside with topic-based and rating grading system contributes to improvement of the results of training future lawyers.uk
