Abstract

У статті досліджуються глибокі та складні взаємозв'язки між мовою та когнітивними процесами, що становлять важливий напрямок у сучасній лінгвістиці та когнітивній психології. Мова не лише слугує засобом комунікації, а й істотно впливає на структуру мислення, формуючи сприйняття та осмислення світу. У цьому контексті особливу увагу приділено гіпотезі лінгвістичної відносності, яка стверджує, що особливості мовних структур можуть впливати на когнітивні стратегії, які використовують люди для осмислення реальності. Стаття також розглядає, як когнітивні процеси, такі як пам'ять, увага та вирішення проблем, інтегруються з мовною діяльністю. Дослідження, на які спирається стаття, вклю- чають нейровізуалізаційні методи, які демонструють активацію різних ділянок мозку під час мовних та когнітивних завдань. Також аналізуються впливи двомовності та багатомовності на розвиток когнітивних функцій мозку, включаючи позитивні ефекти на для розвитку пам'яті і гнучкості мислення. Розглядається роль невербальних форм комунікації, зокрема мови жестів, яка доповнює та розширює наші розуміння когнітивних процесів. Стаття підкреслює важливість міждисциплінарного підходу в дослідженнях, оскільки взаємозв'язки між мовою та когнітивними процесами мають значні практичні наслідки для навчання та розвитку мовних навичок, особливо у дітей. Також акцентується увага на потенційних застосуваннях результатів досліджень у терапевтичній практиці, де розуміння цих зв’язків може бути корисним у процесах реабілітації, зокрема для пацієнтів з афазією або іншими мовними розладами. У висновках підкреслюється необхідність подальших досліджень у цій сфері, які допоможуть глибше усвідомити механізми взаємодії між мовою і когнітивними функціями, а також їх вплив на соціальну комунікацію, культурні практики та психоемоційний розвиток людини. The article explores the deep and complex relationships between language and cognitive processes, which constitute an important area of research in modern linguistics and cognitive psychology. Language not only serves as a means of communication, but also significantly affects the structure of thinking, shaping the perception and comprehension of the world. In this context, special attention is paid to the hypothesis of linguistic relativity, which states that the peculiarities of language structures can influence the cognitive strategies that people use to comprehend reality. The article also discusses how cognitive processes such as memory, attention, and problem solving are integrated with language activity. The research on which the article is based includes neuroimaging techniques that demonstrate the activation of different brain regions during language and cognitive tasks. The article also analyzes the effects of bilingualism and multilingualism on the development of cognitive brain functions, including positive effects on memory development and flexibility of thinking. The role of non-verbal forms of communication, in particular sign language, which complements and extends our understanding of cognitive processes, is also considered. The article emphasizes the importance of an interdisciplinary approach to research, as the relationships between language and cognitive processes have significant practical implications for the teaching and development of language skills, especially in children. The article also emphasizes the potential applications of research findings in therapeutic practice, where an understanding of these connections can be useful in rehabilitation processes, particularly for patients with aphasia or other language disorders. The conclusions emphasize the need for further research in this area, which will help to better understand the mechanisms of interaction between language and cognitive functions, as well as their impact on social communication, cultural practices, and psychoemotional development.
