To the definion of "Dance improvisation"

Abstract

The article is devoted to the study of the phenomenon of dance improvisation. The article highlights the results of the theoretical analysis of literature, tangent to the problem of disclosing the essence of this phenomenon and the definition of «dance improvisation» as a scientific concept. Several definitions of the concept of «dance improvisation» from various domestic to foreign sources are presented. Particular attention is paid to the phenomenon of contact improvisation, as the most common and demanded by modern society cultural and social phenomenon.
