Семантичний аналіз синонімічного ряду ключової лексеми концепту «Pandemic»

Abstract

Стаття присвячена дослідженню синонімічного ряду ключової лексеми концепту «Pandemic». Особлива увага спрямована на розгляд дефініцій синонімів до ключової лексеми концепту «Pandemic» із залученням лексикографічних джерел. Зазначено, що дослідження будь-якого концепту відбувається із урахуванням його структурної побудови, опису поняттєвого, образного та ціннісного компонентів. Аналіз поняттєвого компонента концепту здійснюється через вивчення його прямої номінації, дефініції, зокрема й через вивчення синонімічного ряду ключової лексеми, аналіз якої сприяє відтворенню додаткових поняттєвих ознак, не репрезентованих у дефініціях ключової лексеми. Виокремлено основні лексичні одиниці із синонімічними значеннями до імені концепту «Pandemic» за допомогою шести словників синонімів та тезаурусів. Проаналізовано дефініції синонімів іменника pandemic, представлених у тлумачних та галузевих словниках, та виокремлено домінантні семи. Шляхом аналізу медичної термінології, резпрезентованої в дефініціях галузевих словників, було виокремлено домінантні семи лексем синонімів, які розкривають додаткові концептуальні ознаки. The article is devoted to the analysis of synonyms of the concept «pandemic». A special attention is focused on defining of synonyms for the key lexeme of the concept «pandemic» on the basis of lexicographic sources. The study of any concept is carried out in accordance with its structural composition, which includes the description of conceptual, image and value components. The analysis of the conceptual component of the concept is conducted through the study of its direct nomination, definition, as well as by means of research of the synonyms of the key lexeme, the analysis of which contributes to the reproduction of additional conceptual features that are not represented in the key lexeme definitions. The main lexical units with synonymous meanings for the name of the concept «pandemic» were identified. The definitional analysis of the synonymous lexemes is based on the lexicographical data obtained from generic and medical dictionaries. The study of medical terminology presented in the definitions of medical dictionaries enabled identification of the dominant semes for the key lexeme, which reveal additional conceptual features.
