Методика інтенсивного навчання інженерів професійно-орієнтованої англійської мови

Abstract

Дисертацію присвячено дослідженню проблеми інтенсивного навчання інженерів професійно-орієнтованої англійської мови. Обґрунтовано перспективність інтенсивної поетапно-концентричної моделі для забезпечення корпоративного навчання. Аргументовано необхідність вивчення специфіки діяльності конкретного виробництва для створення максимально однорідних груп інженерів за рівнями володіння мовою та приналежністю до відповідних відділів з метою реалізації потенціалу інтенсивної форми навчання; визначено його цілі, принципи організації та зміст методики. Розроблено систему вправ, яка включає дві підсистеми: для формування мовленнєвих навичок та для розвитку мовленнєвих умінь; обґрунтовано співвідношення підсистем та вправ всередині кожної з них, яке варіюється на кожному з трьох етапів навчання, при постійному збільшенні питомої ваги мовленнєвих вправ. Обґрунтовано особливості поточного, рубіжного та підсумкового контролю.

The thesis deals with a research into the development of the model of intensive teaching professionally oriented English to engineers. The potential of the stage-concentric approach within the corporate framework to sustain such model has been substantiated. The author argues for the need to take into account the nature of the specific enterprise subdivisions’ operation while distributing engineers among academic groups to provide for the latter uniformity concerning the engineers’ language command and affiliation with the purpose to realize the full potential of the intensive approach. The latter’s aims, principles and subject-matter have been specified. There have been developed a system of exercises comprising two subsystems for the development of speech subskills and skills correspondently. The author establishes the principles of correlation between the two subsystems, as well as among the exercises within each of them. This correlation vary at each of the three stages of teaching with the ratio of speech exercises permanently increasing from stage to stage. The peculiarities of current, intermediate and final evaluations are provided.
