dc.description.abstractStarting from the errors of Chinese learners in learning "hello", this paper discusses the pragmatic functions and characteristics of "hello" according to the current situation of the use of "hello" in China, the development history of "hello" in China, the regional distribution of "hello"-users, the positioning of "hello" in greetings, the rules of use and its characteristics. It plays a certain role in learning "hello" for Chinese learners. The author hopes that Chinese educators can strengthen Chinese learners' contextual awareness of learning Chinese.
