The positive and negative consequences of the local self- government development in Ukraine in the context of european experience

Abstract

The article considers the basic models of the local self-government (horizontal or continental and dualistic or Anglo-Saxon), which are classical in the European space. Positive and negative consequences of the local self-government system development in Ukraine are analyzed in this article. У статті розглянуто основні моделі місцевого самоврядування (горизонтальні чи континентальні та дуалістичні чи англосаксонські), які є класичними в європейському просторі. У статті аналізуються позитивні та негативні наслідки розвитку системи місцевого самоврядування в Україні.
