Title: Application of performance assessment in oral chinese teaching as a foreign language: intermediate level Chinese Authors: Mu Yage Abstract: Performance assessment uses is a process-oriented approach that enables students to show their thinking processes in more realistic or simulated situations, and to more comprehensively investigate students’ mastery in certain knowledge as well as their skills. At present, most of the applied disciplines involving performance evaluation in China focus on English, Chinese, mathematics, chemistry and other disciplines, but little attention is paid to teaching Chinese as a foreign language. Because of the differences in subject tasks and teaching objects, teaching of Chinese as a foreign language has its own uniqueness. Оцінювання ефективності використовує процесно-орієнтований підхід, який дає змогу студентам показати свої процеси мислення в більш реалістичних або змодельованих ситуаціях, а також більш всебічно дослідити оволодіння студентами певними знаннями, а також їхніми навичками. Оцінювання успішності в Китаї зосереджено на англійській, китайській, математиці, хімії та інших дисциплінах, але викладанню китайської мови як іноземної приділяється мало уваги.
